More than 120 different work glove models are available to suit your individual requirements. Leather work gloves have always been highly popular. They provide a maximum of dexterity and firm grip during mechanical strain with slight heat protection. Leather work gloves are to some extent also suitable when dealing with moisture, greases and oils. High-quality grain leather / full grain leather (originally the side of the skin with hair) is resistant to oils and greases and is extremely strong. It allows far more dexterity in comparison to cracked leather. Cracked leather (from the lower skin area) has a rougher surface compared to grain leather. The cut resistance and the heat protection of cracked leather work gloves are better than grain leather ones, but it absorbs more humidity.

engelbert strauss provides leather work gloves in both types of leather. Their application depends on the area of usage and of course also the personal preferences of the wearer. Whichever material is used: the important thing is that your hands remain protected. Personal safety in the world of work also means the right footwear for the job.
